Trillian is a chat client program with all the features you will need to provide your website with facilities to allow your customers and website readers to chat to you and to each other.
Trillian is a chat client that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. This is the purpose of this program to connect you to multiple instant messaging services without the need of running multiple clients. It supports capabilities not available with original network clients, while supporting standard features such as audio chat, file transfers, group chats, chat rooms, friends icons, multiple connections to the same network, server-side contact importing, typing notification, direct connection (AIM), proxy support, encrypted messaging (AIM/ICQ), SMS support, and privacy settings. It also has multiple useful features like: its own skinning engine known as SkinXML, full contact message history, tabbed messaging, global status changes, automatic Wikipedia integration, contact alerts, hundreds of emoticons and emotional sounds.
Trillian supports AIM, IRC, ISQ, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger programs. The software includes features like audio chat, group chats, chat rooms, buddy icons and privacy settings. Because Trillian supports multiple simultaneous connections to the network, you can allow many people to chat online at the same time.
Other popular features from Trillian include the SMS support (where you can receive messages on your mobile phone), contact message history, contact alerts, notifications, and privacy settings. With automatic Wikipedia integration, Trillian offers chat clients features like Instant Lookup. Hundreds of emoticons and emoti sounds add user interest to the chats and forums set up through Trillian.
You can set up a private chat group for your friends and family with Trillian. While newer, Pro versions are expensive, some of the previous versions are free. You can import your passwords, buddy lists, and client preferences from all the other chat networks like Yahoo Messaging and you will find Trillian’s user interface extremely easy to use. Check your supported email accounts, view detailed event logs for each client, and even transfer files among your chat users.
Installation and set up is simple. Each support chat client can decide whether to install the options for video, voice messaging and SMS support. The best thing about Trillian is that you can see your email messages from all the email sites, no matter where your friends are or what email system they use. This means you can check your email messages from Yahoo Messenger, ISQ, and MSN all at the same time, without having to run many programs that eat up memory space on your computer.
Download older versions of Trillian software to get free software without advertising. The versions previous to Trillian 6.2 have all the features you need, without the cost of the Pro versions.
Trillian has many features that allow you to chat to all friends at the same time, either in a forum or chat room, or just by enabling you to see and access all the different email systems on the same screen. Download an older version of Trillian to get the full benefits of the free software.
We have found several security issues on the following versions: Trillian 3.0 has a PNG Image Processing Buffer Overflow Exploit inside; Trillian 0.74 has a Remote Buffer Overflow Exploit and also a Remote Denial of Service Exploit. Therefor those versions will not be included on our website.
All other versions were scanned with several antiviruses before adding them on this website.
