RealVNC is a software program that allows users to remotely control a computer from anywhere on the internet. This software can be used to fulfill a variety of different uses ranging from technical support to the access of work computers from home.

RealVNC comes in three different editions: a free edition, an upgraded personal edition, and then a top-of-the-line business edition. Despite all of the upgrades that are available for the software, the program still functions perfectly well on the free edition. All editions of RealVNC offer compatibility with Windows 95 and Windows XP, as well as strong security measures to ensure that your data is not compromised.

Version 3.3.7 of the software included a few major enhancements that improved the server’s performance for many different graphics applications. This version also included the addition of new control mechanism that allowed for the optimization of drawing performance versus its interactivity.

RealVNC 4.3 and later have included a variety of features that improve upon its earlier releases. Elements such as an address book, HTTP proxy support, and user interface improvements make the software even simply and enjoyable to use. Also included in the personal edition of version 4.4.1 is text-based chat, a feature that allows people at either computer screen to communicate through the program.

All of these features and more have set RealVNC apart from the crowd and made it a first-rate tool for remotely controlling a computer from anywhere on the internet.
