The free, open source, GUI based web browser is based on Mozilla’s Gecko layout engine and uses the familiar Aqua user interface that Mac users will appreciate. The latest version of Camino needs Mac OS 10.3.9 or later, so if you run an earlier version of Mac operating system you will need to download a previous version of Camino.
If you use Mac operating system v10.1, you will need to download the older version of Camino of 0.8.5. The previous version of Camino version 1.0.6 is the version for Mac OS X 10.2.8, while Mac OS X 10.3.0 users will need to download the 1.5.5 older version of Camino.
Camino as a web browser is powerful, secure, and functional in design. It is easy to use and meets all the needs of internet browsers. Camino features include a pop up blocker, built in blocks for advertising, and the ability to load Flash animation only when you want it to load. All of this means that Camino provides annoyance free web browsing.
Camino can save your web browsing sessions and can remember what pages you were visiting when you quit the program. Camino will automatically load the pages you were visiting when you quit, a feature that is particularly helpful for installing Mac OS X updates.
You will never worry about making spelling mistakes on your blog, or when you leave comments on a forum, because Camino includes the Mac OS X spell checker on every text field.
Camino makes it easy to find and hook up to RSS or Atom feeds in web pages. When the program detects a feed, an icon will appear in the location bar to send the feed to your default Mac OS X feed reader.
Download a previous version of Camino to find an easy pathway to the web with an easy to use interface and all the features you need.
