The TeamViewer is the complete remote control software. TeamViewer integrates client and server in one combined executable and requires Windows 98 or any newer version.

TeamViewer QuickSupport is the simple and easy solution for customer support and remote presentations: The small executable requires no installation and allows immediate access to a partner’s computer.

After running TeamViewer the connection dialog is opened automatically. On both PCs you wish to connect you will see the connection dialog. (If the dialog does not show or has been closed click the TeamViewer symbol in the system tray (the blue and black symbol on the lower right of your screen). For online presentations there is an even more convenient option: You can present your desktop to a partner in his web browser. This is done with an integrated Java applet that runs in different browsers and does not even require Microsoft Windows!

Previous versions of TeamViewer are free software, licensed under the GPL – so the complete source code is available to anybody interested. DynGate is a separate program which is not licensed under the GPL. At this time, the source is not available – maybe this will change in a later state of the project.
